What are the responsibilities and job description for the Extra-curricular position - ULTIMATE FRISBEE/DISC GOLF COACH position at Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District?
Ultimate Frisbee/Disc Golf CoachFall- Disc Golf-Coach organizes practices 2x per week-Sets up disc golf course on BR campus.-Schedules meets against other schools.-Organizes transportation-Fundraises-Purchases equipment-Responsible for safe development of student athletes' sport related skillsSpring- Ultimate Frisbee-SafeSport certified-Coach goes through USAU to get certified, to register players, and register the team for the season as well as tournaments, especially the Massachusetts State Championship Tournament. Coach also attends USAU league scheduling as well as clinics.-Coach registers the team to participate in the South Shore Ultimate Frisbee League. -Team plays 15-20 games per season; practices 2x per week. There are three groups- learn to throw, learn to ultimate (B Team), varsity competition level (A Team).-Coach assists in the design, fundraising and purchase of team uniforms.-Organizes transportation-Fundraises-Purchases equipment-Responsible for safe development of student athletes' sport related skillsThe mission of the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional School District is to provide excellence in education for all students in an environment that values the individual.
