What are the responsibilities and job description for the Technology Department - Summer Help position at Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District?
July 1, 2026 through August 31, 2026
Three (3) positions available
$18.00 per hour - 6 hours per day maximum - Monday through Thursday (an occasional Friday)
Position requires:
- Careful attention to detail, punctuality, decorum in the schools, responsibility for working alone or on a team with specific assignments
- Familiarity with basic PC hardware and related equipment
- Moving and unpacking computer equipment
- Setting up workstations, printers, and peripheral devices
- Performing comprehensive inventory of all technology-related equipment in schools
- Installing software, setting up printers, scanners, and other devices on computers running Windows
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs to support moving and staging of technology equipment
- Valid New Jersey drivers license and own transportation highly preferred
- Must provide dates that the applicant is unable to work due to vacation and/or other obligations
