European Automotive Technician – Euro Cars

European Automotive Service Technician – A or B Tech

Bridgewater Motor Works has specialized in European automobiles for over 42 years in West Bridgewater, Massachusetts. We work almost exclusively on Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, and MINI vehicles.

We don't rely on tools described as "factory-level." We use the same diagnostic equipment, software, service information, and specialized tools that the manufacturers supply to their new-car dealers.

Our experienced team includes ASE Certified Master Technicians with more than 90 years of combined European automotive experience.

The Position

This is not a volume shop, and this is not an entry-level position.

We are looking for a good B-level technician and would be equally happy to hear from an experienced A-level technician.

European experience is preferred, but not required for the right person. We will consider a strong technician with solid fundamentals, good diagnostic ability, and a genuine desire to become an accomplished European specialist.

You don't need to know everything. You do need to care about the quality of your work and want to keep getting better.

What You'll Do

• Service, diagnose, and repair European vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability problems
• Use manufacturer diagnostic equipment, wiring diagrams, service information, and repair procedures
• Work alongside experienced BMW and Mercedes-Benz specialists
• Focus on accurate diagnosis and quality repairs—not simply getting the car out the door

What We're Looking For

• At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience
• Solid mechanical and electrical fundamentals
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving ability
• European experience preferred
• Ability to work independently while also working well with the rest of the team
• Professional attitude and attention to detail
• A genuine desire to learn and continually improve

Why Bridgewater Motor Works?

This is a place for technicians who want to become better at their craft.

You'll work on challenging European vehicles with the proper diagnostic equipment, tools, and information, alongside experienced technicians who take pride in doing the job correctly.

For a promising technician who wants to advance, we are willing to invest in training and development.

An experienced A-level European technician will also find an environment where his or her diagnostic skills and experience are valued and where quality of work matters more than simply pushing cars through the shop.

Compensation & Benefits

• $55,000–$135,000 per year, based on experience and ability
• Paid vacation
• Paid major-holiday long weekends
• Retirement plan
• Employee discounts
• Paid training and ongoing professional development

If you're a solid technician who takes pride in your work—or an experienced European technician looking for the right shop—we'd like to talk with you.
