Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Maintenance Director to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks, including electrical, HVAC, and construction work. The successful candidate will have excellent technical skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong leadership qualities.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including electrical and HVAC repairs
Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely and efficient manner
Assist the Maintenance Director in managing the maintenance department
Provide guidance and training to maintenance staff as needed
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
Be available for on-call duties one week a month
Requirements:
Knowledge of basic electrical and HVAC systems
Ability to use basic tools and have knowledge of construction practices
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
