We are seeking an Event Specialist to join our Marketing Team in St. Louis Park. Reporting to the Director Events, the Event Specialist will support the planning and execution of internal and external events, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for employees, clients, prospects, and community partners. This role works closely with the Marketing Team to support the successful delivery and execution of events across the bank.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the primary coordinator for internal, external, and sponsored events, overseeing planning and execution of employee and client experiences across the bank.
- Execute event administrative tasks, including nametags, supply packing, gift preparation, and post-event reporting.
- Manage promotional materials, including sourcing, ordering, organizing, distributing, and tracking branded merchandise, gifts, and event supplies.
- Coordinate meeting and event logistics, including determining room layouts and setup requirements, arranging food and beverage, managing audiovisual needs, preparing materials, and ensuring spaces are set and reset appropriately.
- Provide day-of event support, including setup, registration, troubleshooting, vendor management, attendee experience, tear-down, and post-event follow-up.
- Serve as a professional ambassador for Bridgewater Bank while interacting with clients, guests, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure a consistent, high-quality event experience by aligning event execution, gifting and promotional efforts, and employee experiences with the bank’s brand, culture, and values.
- Support the Marketing team with additional projects, administrative tasks, and special initiatives as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, Business, Event Management, or related field
- 2 years of event planning, hospitality, or project coordination experience
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, a high level of organization, initiative, and energy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while maintaining strong accountability and follow-through.
- Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends and travel locally for events.
- Ability to lift, transport, and set up event materials and supplies as needed.
- Proven ability to independently manage event logistics with minimal supervision.
- Experience working with CRM systems, event registration platforms, attendee management, guest communications, and event reporting preferred.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The typical hourly base pay range for this role is between $27.70 - $30.10. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
