What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deposit Services Operations Specialist position at Bridgewater Bank?
We are seeking a client focused and meticulous Deposit Services Operations Specialist to join our Deposit Services Operations team at Bridgewater Bank. Accountable to the VP of Deposit Services Operations, in this role, you will maintain the processes and procedures used by the Deposit Services team, and complete monitoring of their use to drive operational excellence and risk mitigation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain documents to support the Deposit Services department including but not limited to process, procedures, user manuals, product summaries, and internal forms
- Oversee informal and formal content reviews of process procedures and documents to ensure all materials remain current and compliant
- Conduct monitoring on accurate use of impactful Deposit Services procedures that have compliance and regulatory implications, including but not limited to hold review, cashier’s check audits, vault and night drop dual control, and override audits.
- Support and participate in the launch of new initiatives and projects affecting Deposit Services
- Monitor and respond to or escalate daily inquiries to Branch Operations email inbox
- Manage Specialty Account product requests and complete client reach outs as needed
- Review branch IRA transactions including year-end reporting
- Draft and support the weekly Deposit Services Email communication needs
- Maintain an understanding of security policies and procedures
- Adhere to the bank’s policies, procedures, security requirements and government regulations including (but not limited to) BSA
- Positively represent the bank in all interactions with clients, coworkers, and vendors
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years retail banking experience, Account Executive experience is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Planner)
- Superior client service skills
- Strong analytical, technical, organizational, and time management skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience working in SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365 highly desirable
- Fiserv and Integrated Teller experience preferred

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
The typical annual base pay range for this role is between $49,000 - $56,850. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance.
