What are the responsibilities and job description for the Russian-Speaking Sales Manager — Bilingual (Russian/English) | Youth Soccer Academy position at Bridgeview Soccer Academy?
We're looking for a salesperson who closes parents — not someone who just "answers messages."
Who we are
Bridgeview Soccer Academy is a youth soccer academy in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. We've been around since 2009 — 500 kids, 15 teams, 10 coaches, our own indoor field at the MatchPoint complex, and a full path from a child's first ball to FA Euro.
Every day, warm leads come in from parents across South Brooklyn. Someone has to turn them into kids signed up for practice. That's your job.
This is NOT "living in the chat." It's:
- 5–10 warm leads every single day — always someone to work with, always money to earn
- one job: qualify the parent and get the child onto the field, where the academy sells itself (50% of new clients come by referral)
- you call, follow up, handle objections, and drive to payment
- you don't pressure — you help a mom make the decision she already wants to make
What you'll do
- handle leads from Instagram, WhatsApp, the website, and inbound calls
- talk to parents — warmly, by name, like a human
- book kids for an evaluation lesson (our key step — that's where kids stay)
- handle objections: price, location, "let me think about it"
- close to payment and keep the CRM updated
Your targets (monthly KPIs)
We set monthly KPIs in advance and tune them to the season — so the plan is real and achievable, not pulled out of thin air. A typical month looks like:
- ~500 calls and texts
- ~30 evaluation lessons delivered
- ~10 signed contracts
- The main business metric is collected revenue; these three KPIs are how you move it directly. You always know the month's goal in advance and see where you stand against it.
You're a fit if:
- Fluent English — not "I can read and translate," but you speak and write freely (critical — our parents are English-speaking)
- Russian — our team communicates in Russian internally (required)
- Legal work authorization in the USA
- High energy — a sluggish salesperson has an empty paycheck, and that's not how we work
- confident on calls and in chat, fast to respond to a lead
- sales experience is a strong plus (no experience but real hunger? let's still talk)
Honest about the start
The first weeks are not easy. Leads don't close themselves, and every newcomer hits a "dip" where it feels like it's not working. 9 out of 10 give up there. We need the 1 in 10 who pushes through on discipline. And you won't push through alone — you'll have a personal coach and a team behind you.
Pay & terms
- base $20–25/hour — depends on experience, communication, and how you show up in the interview
- schedule: 5 hours a day, 5 days a week. Keep results steady and we open it up to 8 hours a day — which means noticeably more income
- Brooklyn, NY — in-office, your own workstation
- we'll discuss pay details at the interview
Why you'll actually grow as a salesperson (not "we'll train you as you go" — a real system):
- a personal coach who takes you to top-closer level — the kind clients trust from the first call, not the kind who pressures
- direct access to the company owner — you grow next to the person building the business, at high intensity
- on average, a candidate becomes a sales star in 3–6 months
- monthly in-house training and team-building
- we've invested $10,000 in automation: the system handles the routine, so you focus on what matters — client relationships and closing
- a family atmosphere: the team stays positive, without losing results
Why this matters
Every "yes" is one more kid who put down the iPad and stepped onto the field. Made friends. Started moving. You're not selling training — you're selling a mom peace of mind and a child a normal, screen-free childhood. These are sales you can be proud of.
