What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Systems Technician position at BridgeValley CTC?
The expected schedule for this position is Monday through Friday (8:00AM – 6:00PM); flexible as needed by department.
Actual salary offer will be commensurate with education and experience.
•Configure, deploy, and maintain end-user devices such as desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, classroom technology equipment, and peripherals, along with required software.
•Provide support for Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
•Assist with network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi troubleshooting, VPN access, and basic switch/router support under guidance from senior staff.
•Follow cybersecurity best practices when handling systems and data; assist with endpoint security monitoring, phishing response, and patch management.
•Document troubleshooting steps and contribute to the IT knowledge base for future reference.
•Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software licenses, and IT assets.
•Collaborate with IT and Operations teams with special projects and technology rollouts as needed.
•Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive user experience.
•Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows, macOS, and common software applications
•Awareness of cybersecurity best practices and willingness to learn more.
•Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to multitask, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and remain calm under pressure.
•Eagerness to learn new technologies and grow into broader IT responsibilities.
(Network , Security , CCNA, Microsoft Fundamentals) a plus.
•Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory and 365 applications and services, with strong troubleshooting skills for common user issues.
•Hands-on experience with ticketing/help desk systems.
•Experience working in Cisco Meraki environments (wireless, switches, or security appliances).
