ICU Kennel Assistant

Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency and Referral is seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our ICU team! This role supports our veterinary nurses and doctors by providing exceptional patient care, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and assisting with animal handling.

What You’ll Do

• Provide daily care for hospitalized patients (feeding, walking, cleaning, comfort).
• Assist with safe animal restraint for treatments and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the ICU.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, laundry, and kennels.
• Restock supplies and support the nursing team as needed.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Required: Animal handling experience (dogs & cats).
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine or animal care.
• Dependable, compassionate, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with critically ill patients.
• Must be available for weekends, evenings, and holidays (24/7 hospital).
