Bridgetown Delivery is hiring Helpers to ride along with drivers on assigned delivery routes. As a Helper, youll work as part of a two-person team to get packages delivered safely and on time. Youll help the driver stay alert to road hazards, act as a spotter during backing maneuvers, organize packages in the cargo area, and keep the route on schedule.
What Youll Do
- Scan the road for pedestrians, hazards, and obstacles and keep the driver informed
- Spot the driver during backing and blind-spot maneuvers
- Help load, sort, and carry packages safely, following weight-handling guidelines
- Track upcoming stops and scheduled delivery windows along the manifest
- Walk the path ahead of service deliveries to prevent slips, trips, and falls
- Support the driver with safety checks and route preparation
