Position Summary

The Treasury Supervisor will play a key role in the treasury operations team for Bridgestone Americas. Among other responsibilities, the role will manage cash management activities and processes, including timely execution of cash positioning, short term cash forecasting, troubleshooting, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Manage execution of treasury cash management processes performed by Treasury professionals, including daily cash positioning, 90-day short term cash forecasting, intercompany cash pool, and bank files (reporting, confirmation and payment files)

Execute daily treasury operations through Treasury Management System (Reval)

Execute internal and external funds transfers as needed (wires, ACH)

Lead day to day troubleshooting and escalations of these cash management activities via bank interactions

Invest excess operating cash to generate additional interest income (time deposits, money market funds) aligned with investment policy

Lead process improvement for 90-day short-term cash forecast, including analytical review of historical data

Support execution implementations of new products and services for the cash operations team (lockbox, controlled disbursement, payroll, fraud mitigation, positive pay & ACH/Wire payment files)

Execute back-office confirmations and settlements for FX and Commodity spot/hedging transactions

Play a key role updating treasury executive dashboards on a monthly basis

Proactively identify operational data to support improvement and standardization of day-to-day cash operations

Lead and/or support ad hoc treasury operations projects and initiatives

Execution of account administration processes, including creation, modification and termination

Others

Support maintenance of static data in the Treasury Management System (Reval) – i.e., entities, banks, bank accounts, signatories, intercompany cash pools and cash maps

Support cash management implementations to support M&A and divestiture(s)

Prepare ad-hoc presentations to communicate status & milestones on all cash management initiatives to executive management

Support centralized bank account administration (opening, closing, modifications, signatory changes, check signers), including bank documentation updates

Support accounting team(s) for month-end journal entries review and postings related to cash movements, cash pool interest, debt accruals, and FX & Commodity trade settlements

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferably with emphasis in business administration, finance, accounting, or economics.

Green Belt

Previous experience in Finance and Administrative Process

4 years of experience in Treasury Cash Management, Payments, Finance, Accounts Payable, or related operational roles Shared Services Centers.

At least 1 year experience in people management and performance evaluation cycle

Work experience with treasury management system (such as Reval) Preferred

Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) Designation or MBA Preferred (Nice to have)

Experience in managing system environments and ensuring operational stability

Skilled in stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution and negotiation.

Proven experience in management control frameworks, including governance, compliance, and performance monitoring

Ability to work under ambiguity and independently prioritize assignments/projects with a high sense of urgency

Ability to communicate effectively including to internal and external partners and executive management

Highly developed presentation and communication skills

Highly developed analytical, and critical thinking skills

Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to teamwork

Treasury Management System or related to

Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Proven experience in diagnosing and resolving system issues

Strong background in governance, risk, and control framework

Portuguese: B2
English: B2
