The Branch Manager role manages daily operations to achieve branch goals, which include driving sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, hiring, training and retaining, and managing budgets. This role requires a business-minded, team-oriented leader with strong operational, analytical, and sales capabilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment including safe driving, maintenance and cleanliness of company vehicles, including mobile service trucks.
• Manage overall branch operations, ensuring productivity, profitability and superior customer service.
• Develop a strong operations team
• Build strong relationships with customers, resolving complaints and ensuring satisfaction and growth.
• Manage budgets, financial reports and inventory to ensure the branch meets its financial targets.
• Remain current in knowledge of all product lines for the hose industry while maintaining excellent vendor relationships.
• Recruit, develop and evaluate branch staff. Provide mentorship and support to ensure high performance, accountability, employee satisfaction and excellent customer service.
• Lead, coach and develop branch staff to meet performance goals and address performance issues. Promote a positive, productive and inclusive work environment.
• Conduct regular staff meetings, safety meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
• Regularly assess branch performance metrics, identify areas for improvement.
• Understand assigned branch territory, maintain and assign accounts to ensure efficient coverage

Qualifications:
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous sales and management experience.
- BA in business or related field or 5 years’ experience in hydraulic and industrial hose sales, distribution and/or manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of the hydraulic and industrial hose industry and market trends.
- Ability to analyze data, develop strategies and drive results.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of people and personalities.
- Excellent leadership, teambuilding, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and lead a team towards achieving common goals.
- Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions swiftly.
- Ability to manage and appropriately prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
- Experience with budget management and business development.
- Work with corporate staff to administer financial matters including inventory management, receivables collection and disbursement of funds.
