These products are sold around the world for use in tires, impact modification of plastics and hot melt adhesives. Statistical process control is used in every step of the operation. Position Summary

We’re currently looking for a Professional Accountant to join our team in Lake Charles, LA.

This role will be responsible for general accounting duties, such as accounts payable, monthly reconciliations, month-end close entries, etc. This role also covers Capitalizations and preparation of monthly Sales and Use tax.

Responsibilities

Job functions include but are not limited to:

• Accounts Payable
• Sales and Use Tax
• Capitalizations
• Monthly Reconciliations
• Month-end close entries (accruals/reclasses)
• Data entry in ERP systems and Ad-hoc analysis as requested
  
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• 2-5 years of experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Prior experience in Accounts payable preferred
• Prior experience in variance analysis preferred
