The Original Equipment Americas Key Account Manager (OE AKAM) is directly responsible for building and strengthening the relationship with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the Americas (Boeing and Embraer) and the Bridgestone Aircraft Tire business globally. - Analyze Aviation Business Environment: Gather data information on OEM activities and future plans. Analyze market trends in the aviation industry, including changes in aviation authorities' rules and regulations

- Develop OEM Strategies: Develop, propose and execute strategies for each OEM in order to achieve targets, become an undisputed strategic partner, and be a leading candidate for supplier of the year

- Develop New Business: responsible for creating and proposing new business opportunities with OEMs

- Tire Product Planning: Develop strategies for product development and planning (new and retread) according to OEM needs, market demand and knowledge of competitors

- Manage Aircraft Programs

- Responsible for managing each aircraft program through the entire life cycle: from RFI to RFP to contract negotiation to development to approval.

- Accountable for the development schedule including coordination with wheel manufacturers

- Responsible for all aspects of the contract including ensuring execution, monitoring sales, preparing for audits and securing renewals

- Serve as an outside sales representative in a given territory. Responsible for customer relationship, communication, business planning, and contractual sales. Explore and develop additional sales opportunities through market research, trade show attendance, marketing and cold-calling. Represents the entire Bridgestone product portfolio including tires, solutions and services as well as explores and develops opportunities for new solutions and services based on customer feedback and market needs
