Position Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Care Workers to join our home health care team. The ideal candidate will assist elderly clients in their homes with daily living activities, homemaking, errands, and personal care to promote comfort, independence, and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide homemaking services such as light housekeeping, laundry, and organization.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals in accordance with dietary needs and preferences.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to promote mental and social well-being.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities as needed.
- Monitor and document changes in physical or mental health and report concerns to supervisor or healthcare provider.
- Support medication reminders in accordance with care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment in the client’s home.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Drivers License and Valid Car Insurance Required.
- Prior experience in caregiving or home health care is a plus, but not required.
- Must pass background check.
Pay: $18.00 per hour
