Bridges Prep Athletic Coaches Expectations
The role of a Bridges Prep coach extends beyond teaching skills and strategy. Coaches are leaders,
educators, and role models whose conduct directly impacts the development of student-athletes, the school
culture, and the community. All coaches are expected to uphold the following professional standards:

- Demonstrate integrity, fairness, and respect in all interactions.
- Adhere to the school's code of conduct, athletic department policies, and state athletic association regulations.
- Avoid any behavior that could be construed as abusive, discriminatory, or inappropriate.
- Plan and conduct organized practices that emphasize skill development, conditioning, and team strategies
- Ensure athletes are supervised at all times during practices, games, and travel.
- Take proper care of equipment, facilities, and uniforms, and report any damages or safety issues immediately
- Prioritize the physical, emotional, and academic well-being of every student-athlete.
- Promote sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and personal responsibility.
- Encourage academic excellence and support classroom performance and attendance.
- Maintain clear, consistent, and respectful communication with athletes, parents, school staff, and
