About the Role
As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will help ensure employees receive the training and support they need to be successful, process bi-weekly payroll , manage personnel records, support onboarding activities, and departmental administration. You will serve as a key resource for employees and managers on routine HR, payroll, and training-related matters.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate and track required employee trainings and certifications.
- Schedule and maintain records for orientation, First Aid/CPR, DSP training, and annual compliance training.
- Monitor certification renewals and training compliance.
- Facilitate and deliver training programs as assigned.
- Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time.
- Review and audit employee time records.
- Assist with payroll corrections and employee payroll inquiries.
- Maintain payroll records and related documentation.
- Maintain confidential personnel files and electronic employee records.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Support HR compliance efforts, audits, and recordkeeping requirements.
- Assist with employment verifications and routine HR administration.
- Schedule meetings and training sessions.
- Maintain departmental filing systems and training records.
- Support daily HR operations and special projects.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Experience in human resources, payroll, training coordination, or administrative support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience conducting employee training or facilitating presentations.
- 1-2 years experience with payroll processing.
- First Aid/CPR Instructor certification or willingness to obtain.
- DSP Train-the-Trainer certification or willingness to obtain.
