POSITION SUMMARY
The Graduation Coach is to support achievement by coordinating parent involvement, family support activities, and community outreach programs for at-risk students. Assist in the planning and implementation of programs. Monitor, communicate and evaluate activities and services for parents, school staff, and community partners. Graduation coaches will act as case managers for at-risk students. Providing support or directing students to an appropriate community or school resource for the purpose of keeping the student in the learning program they are enrolled in.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE (Minimum Qualifications)
- Complete two years of study at an institution of higher education; or
- Obtain an associate’s (or higher) degree; or
- Can be TSPC licensed teacher
- Post-Secondary Planning/FAFSA/Oregon Promise
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent interpersonal relationship skills
- Participation in District sponsored in-service activities
- Principles and practices of planning, needs assessment, management, problem solving, group process and evaluation
COMPENSATION
- Wage Schedule: $29.63-$36.41 per hour
- Work days: 180 (10 month)
- Medical, dental and vision insurance
- Life insurance, AD&D, Long term disability included (Optional insurances available)
- Personal days, Sick days
- JCSD 509-J pays the employee's share (6%) of the Public Employees Retirement System Contribution
