Bridges Healthcare, Inc. has an immediate opening for a part-time Clinician for Family & Children Services in our West Haven Office.
Part time, 19 hours per-week, non-benefited position
Must be available to work afternoon and evenings, Monday and Wednesday until 7p.m. is required.
$60 per hour
PURPOSE and POSITION OVERVIEW
Provide mental health and addiction services to assist clients in identifying and attaining their stated goals.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment to individuals, groups and families.
- Maintain client records.
- Serve as liaison with outside services and referral sources.
- Supervise, coach and provide guidance to Student Interns as assigned.
- Perform any other department or agency-related duties or special projects as directed by supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
Master's degree in behavioral health required.
Associate license required.
Knowledge of psychiatric illness and substance abuse.
Good communication and documentation skills.
Computer literacy.
Experience in counseling/therapeutic methods and practices.
Ability to prioritize and organize schedules/demands.
Access to reliable transportation on a consistent basis.
