Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar manual labor role within construction.
- Ability to operate hand tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and materials.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual labor tasks.
- Familiarity with excavation, trenching, and underground utility installation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in concrete finishing or related construction trades.
- Experience operating dump trucks and other heavy machinery.
- Understanding of construction site safety standards and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
- Previous experience working on large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and set forms for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
- Operate hand tools and heavy equipment to pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces.
- Perform excavation and trenching tasks to prepare sites for concrete work and underground utilities.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate dump truck deliveries and manage material placement.
- Conduct demolition and site cleanup as necessary to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Inspect finished surfaces for defects and apply corrective measures to meet quality standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment and handling materials.
- Proficient in concrete finishing techniques and tools
- Working knowledge in concrete workmanship that meets company standards for durability and appearance
- Strong attention to detail in edges, joints, textures, and finishes
- Assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving on pours
- High sense of urgency and set priorities
