Responsibilities
- Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to established specifications and customer requests
- Ensure all meat products are packaged properly, labeled accurately, and stored at appropriate temperatures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about meat cuts, and provide excellent service
- Follow food handling procedures diligently to prevent contamination and ensure product freshness
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while adhering to safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels of meat supplies and notify supervisors when stock needs replenishing or quality issues arise
Requirements
- Proven experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen environments; restaurant or culinary experience highly preferred
