Responsibilities

• Safely operate various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks and other commercial vehicles with manual transmissions.
• Load and unload packages efficiently using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods.
• Drive assigned routes confidently, adhering to traffic laws and company policies to ensure timely deliveries.
• Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures when required, and maintain accurate delivery documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with recipients and addressing any questions or concerns politely.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met; report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist in warehouse tasks such as inventory management, moving goods within the facility, and preparing shipments for dispatch.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving knowledge.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading packages.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including the use of forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual handling techniques.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local routes; ability to adapt to changing schedules or routes as needed.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
