Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Schedule new patients and follow-up appointments
- Answer incoming phone calls, return voicemails, and route calls appropriately.
- Verify patient insurance information and coverage.
- Accurately obtain, enter, and update patient information in the patient electronic chart
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Works well in a face paced environment
- Assist Patient Care Coordinators in clinic as needed (optional opportunity)
- Perform additional duties as assigned by clinic leadership.
Skills, Education, and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1-year medical office experience
- 1-year customer service
- Respect patient privacy by maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on the phone.

Pay: From $19.50 per hour
