What are the responsibilities and job description for the 25-26 Substitute Teacher position at Bridgeport Independent School District?
The first sub training for the 25-26 school year will be August 7 at 9 am at the Alternative Learning Center. You must attend sub orientation to be approved to sub, even if you were a sub for the 24-25 school year. If you last subbed in May 2025, you do not need to put in another application.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED, plus the minimum of 12 college hours required.
Employee must pay a non-refundable fee of approximately $40.00 and have a satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check.

Physical/Mental Demands
Withstand demands of working with students and faculty.
