Summary
We are seeking a motivated and organized Firearm Sales Associate who has a strong interest in both firearms and technology. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within a dynamic and expanding company. In addition to assisting customers on the sales floor, you will also play a key role in supporting warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with firearm and accessory purchases in a knowledgeable, courteous, and professional manner
- Operate and maintain point-of-sale systems and other store-related technology
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of firearms, optics, accessories, and compliance regulations (training provided if needed)
- Process transactions, background checks, and required documentation accurately and in compliance with federal/state laws
- Help manage inventory using digital systems, including intake, labeling, and stocking
- Support warehouse tasks including shipping, receiving, unpacking, and organizing inventory
- Ensure the sales floor and warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Participate in store promotions, displays, and merchandising
- Work collaboratively with team members and management to meet sales goals
- Stay informed about industry trends and product knowledge
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies
- Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of firearms preferred, or strong willingness to learn (training provided)
- Comfort with using and learning technology (POS systems, inventory software, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must pass a background check and meet all legal requirements for firearm handling/sales
- Must pass a drug test.
