Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dealership. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, managing staff, and driving sales growth. This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of dealership operations. Having a background in Agriculture would be a plus. We are a John Deere Dealership with multiple other lines of products that we can sell to our customers. We are a company with a large rental fleet that we also sell equipment from.
Duties
- Lead and supervise store staff, ensuring they provide excellent customer service.
- Recruit, train, and develop employees through effective orientation and ongoing training programs.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure that stock is replenished in a timely manner.
- Oversee cash register operations, ensuring accuracy in transactions and adherence to cash handling policies.
- Implement promotional strategies to drive sales and enhance customer engagement.
- Monitor store performance metrics and develop action plans to improve results.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment for customers and employees.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Experience in recruiting, training development, and employee orientation processes.
- Ability to lead by example, motivating staff to achieve high performance standards.
- A strong understanding of sales and customer service.
