Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and electrical components.
- Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills to identify root causes swiftly.
- Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to assess equipment condition.
- Conduct welding, fabrication, and assembly tasks to repair or modify machinery parts as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Operate various industrial tools and equipment like scissor lifts safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with team members and clients regarding technical issues or repairs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an industrial mechanic within a manufacturing facility environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and schematics interpretation.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures accurately.
- Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex mechanical or electrical issues efficiently.
- Field service experience is preferred; military background is a plus due to discipline and technical training.
