Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Route Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a variety of trucks—including front loader, rear loader, roll-off, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers—to deliver and pick up materials efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in manual transmissions, heavy lifting, and load & unload procedures will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced logistics operation with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate various commercial trucks such as front loader, rear loader, roll-off, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers along assigned routes.
• Load and unload materials using mechanical knowledge and appropriate equipment, ensuring secure handling of cargo.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
• Deliver goods to customers promptly while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Assist with heavy lifting tasks when necessary, utilizing proper techniques and equipment to prevent injury.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance logs.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with necessary endorsements for operating different truck types.
• Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery operations, or route transportation.
• Mechanical knowledge of trucks including front loader, rear loader, roll-off trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers.
• Strong skills in driving safely and navigating urban or rural routes efficiently.
• Physical capability for heavy lifting and manual handling of cargo as part of daily duties.
• Knowledge of load & unload procedures for various truck types while ensuring cargo security.
