An elite global law firm is seeking an IP Litigation Paralegal in Washington, DC. The firm offers competitive Big Law compensation, plus paid overtime based on experience.
This is a dedicated intellectual property litigation role supporting a patent trial team, not a rotation through a general litigation staffing pool. Paralegals remain with their cases from complaint through trial and appeal.
What You Will Do
- Manage e-discovery, document review, and document production workflows in Relativity and similar litigation support platforms, from collection through production.
- Prepare deposition and trial materials, including exhibit lists, witness binders, deposition designations, deposition digests, and transcript summaries.
- Cite-check and Bluebook briefs, assemble exhibits, and handle e-filing in federal district courts and administrative tribunals.
- Build case chronologies, document indices, privilege logs, and fact summaries based on discovery materials.
- Track deadlines, scheduling orders, and protective order obligations across parallel proceedings, including fast-paced ITC matters.
- Support hearings and trials, including courtroom presentation technology and witness preparation.
What You Need
- 3 years of IP litigation or patent litigation experience as a paralegal.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Hands-on experience with Relativity or a comparable document review platform.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
Salary : $75,000 - $105,000
