Bridgefield Electric is actively recruiting for traveling and non-traveling APPRENTICE I and APPRENTICE II ELECTRICIANS who will perform the following job duties under the direct supervision a qualified electrician:
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance, of electrical systems
- Able to learn and/or assist in identifying and diagnosing electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment and techniques
- Able to learn and/or assist is bending and threading cable runs and basic installations compliant with NEC
- Able to learn and/or assist in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics
- Able to learn and/or test electrical systems to ensure proper and safe functioning
- Supports in the maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and modifications of electrical equipment and systems
- Ensure the work area and equipment is kept clean and safe
- Must maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulations
- Additional duties may be assigned based upon job specific needs
- Strong aptitude and interest in electrical systems
- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and tools
- Possess above average problem solving skills
- Willingness to learn and develop industry specific
- High regard to performing work safely with respect to others including property and individual safety
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively as a team
- 1 Years of Industrial Electrical Experience
- Valid Texas Apprentice License
- TWIC (for applicable sites)
- ISTC Basic (or similar Safety Council)
