Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to ensure optimal oral health.
- Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
- Prepare hygiene operatories including, but not limited to set up, decontamination, sterilizing and sharpening all instruments, cleaning handpieces and room, restocking supplies.
- Take imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols and radiation safety standards.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in Dentrix Ascend.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
