Brown & Brown is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Associate to join our growing team!
Reporting to a manager or director, individuals whose primary responsibility includes performing administrative or clerical functions as liaison or assistant to managers, supervisors or other department personnel.
How You Will Contribute:
- Provide clerical and administrative support to a sales office or specific department.
- Perform routine clerical tasks including typing, data entry, filing, and operating office machines.
- Correspond and maintain contact with Client Service Manager on new and renewal business.
- Operate a personal computer and appropriate software packages or the equivalent.
- Maintain files, records, or reports
- Commercial Lines cross selling opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Property & Casualty License (preferred)
- High School Diploma .
- Associate or bachelor's degree in a business or financial related discipline (preferred)
- 1-3 years' experience in a similar position (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
