What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front of House Team Member position at Bridge Pizza?
Bridge Pizza is now hiring counter staff at our Higgins and Brooks Street locations. A variety of day and evening shifts are available - we are specifically looking for folks who will be able to work during the school year.
This is a fun position in a local pizza place, our staff works hard and is beloved by our customers. This shows in their tips, which during the evening shift average $8-12 /hour and $5-8 /hour during the day shifts.
This is a customer service position. Counter staff is responsible for greeting customers, taking orders, running food and maintaining cleanliness of the dining room. All team members are responsible for providing timely, accurate, positive, and friendly customer service.
Other responsibilities include: taking phone orders and helping the drive thru, making salads, cleaning, and helping with dishes. Applicants must be friendly, have the ability to multitask and keep in constant communication with kitchen staff and other counter staff. Team members are an instrumental part of our company that grow the business through repeat customers, increased sales and profitability.
All staff start earning PTO on day one. Employees who work over 30 hr/wk are eligible for company paid health insurance, along with vision and dental options. After a year all employees are eligible for 401(k) with company matching. Free pizza and employee discounts too of course.
This position requires someone is 18 so they are legally allowed to serve alcohol.

- Loves pizza and working in the service industry
- Restaurant experience preferred but not required
- Must be extremely guest orientated with a high degree of integrity
