Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Meeting and Event Coordination (65%)
- Support BEN event and programming functions, including maintaining related event planning processes, calendaring, inventory, and SOPs/guides/resources.
- Execute multiple concurrent programs and events.
- Responsible for end-to-end program delivery, including communications, registration functions, calendaring, creation of marketing materials (including the design of digital and physical collateral)
- The Program Coordinator is first onsite for set up and tear down, setting up any technical needs, onsite troubleshooting, and post event tasks like thank you cards, assessment, and any blog or social content approvals
- Serve as a key supporter at other BEN events and programs that require additional staffing, facilitation, and/or management
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to support and facilitate event and programming initiatives.
Design and Communications (20%)
- Collaborate on and implement any marketing and design needs related to programming and event initiatives, including digital and physical collateral
- Act as ‘first set of eyes’ by proofreading and ensuring accuracy across invite lists, external collateral, and other written collaborative materials
Operational Support (15%)
- Assist with various operational initiatives, i.e. tracking program success, collaborating on data collection & organization
- Execute various projects and miscellaneous initiatives to support the organization’s success
- Maintain accurate budget expenditure records and follow all federal, state, and organizational budget procedures
- Support BEN Colorado Group calendars and email accounts
Supervision Received
This position reports to the Program Manager, who leads all BEN programming delivery. This position does not have direct supervisory responsibility, though we hope the right person grows in role and influence over time.
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- A positive, can-do attitude, including the willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks as needed for the success of projects
- Extreme flexibility and adaptability
- Demonstrated maturity, energy, initiative, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to follow through
- The ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- A self-starter who has the ability to work on a small team with minimal supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Technologically savvy
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be local or live close to Denver, Colorado
- Must have reliable transportation, and the ability to regularly transport event materials to and from the office and events
Preferred Qualities
- Experience in Canva, Cvent, Salesforce, Google Suite, SurveyMonkey, Mailchimp
Compensation:
This is a full-time salaried position with opportunity of advancement.
- Compensation = $62,500 annual base salary
- Potential for 10% Annual Bonus
- Flexible PTO Policy, 11 paid holidays per year, one paid day off for volunteering
