Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 11 years' experience in systems design and engineering
- Ability to troubleshoot cloud (AWS) implementation issues.
- Solve software (Linux) issues and software development.
- Proven success working as a DEVOPs systems engineer and technical admin.
- Agile Methodology and continuous improvement mindset
- GitHub experience and other source control systems
- Strict adherence to security standards and organizational requirements
- Willingness to mentor and train other engineers as well as seek to continually improve processes.
Desired Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience working within AWS/Azure/cloud environments
- Hands-on experience developing with Python
- Hands-on experience developing with Ansible
- Hands-on experience developing with Opentext NNMi
- Hands-on experience developing with Cisco NSO
- Strong DevOps focus and experience building and deploying infrastructure with cloud
- Deployment technologies like Ansible, Chet, Puppet, etc.
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks
- Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
- Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
What you can expect from us
- The expected salary range within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $145,000 - 165,000. Final compensation is unique to each individual and will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, geographic location, and contractual requirements. This is not a guarantee.
