Responsibilities

Overview:

The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python development, DevOps practices, and cloud infrastructure automation using Kubernetes (K8s) and Terraform. A strong understanding of ETL processes, Cassandra database management, and a foundational knowledge of Java are highly desirable. This role will involve building scalable, high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Python and Java.

• Implement and optimize DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and automation strategies.

• Manage cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes and Terraform for efficient deployment and scalability.

• Design and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

• Work with Cassandra databases, ensuring efficient data management and retrieval.

• Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to develop technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance and scalability.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:   

• Proficiency in Python development with hands-on experience in building full-stack applications.

• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD implementation.

• Experience working with Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration.

• Strong knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure automation.

• Familiarity with Cassandra database management and performance tuning.

• Basic Java programming skills to support development needs.

• Experience designing and implementing ETL workflows for data processing.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in an agile development environment.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience working in government or defense-related projects.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerized applications.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
