Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a host or in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
- Familiarity with reservation management systems.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to a table or the bar
- Communicate with the waitstaff and bar about new tables and guests
- Maintaining cleanliness of the dining room by bussing tables, running glassware through dishwasher, sweeping floors, rolling silverware, tidying bathrooms, etc.
- Observing and predicting the needs of guests and coworkers
- Answering phone for to-go orders and answering customer questions
Requirements:
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts per week
- Upbeat, positive attitude
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Organized, high attention to detail
- Craft beer knowledge is a plus
