Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Instructor for an on-site role based in Cupertino, CA. The Instructor will lead engaging, hands-on STEM activities for children utilizing LEGO® bricks. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching structured classes, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants, and fostering a positive learning environment. Additional duties include setting up and cleaning up classrooms, assisting with program logistics, and maintaining the organization of teaching materials.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or working with children in an educational setting
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and problem-solving skills to engage students with hands-on activities and projects
- Ability to manage time and classroom activities effectively
- Familiarity or interest in STEM concepts and educational programs
- Passion for working with children and fostering a fun, educational atmosphere
- High school diploma or equivalent; a background in education, child development, or related fields is a plus
