Senior / Staff Forward Deployment Engineer

We are seeking a Senior / Staff Forward Deployment Engineer to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-grade Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions for customers across diverse industries. This is a highly customer-facing role where you'll work directly with internal engineering teams and enterprise clients to understand business challenges, rapidly prototype AI-powered solutions, and deliver scalable production deployments.

The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of software engineering experience with a strong background in Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, and Python development. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence product direction, and own solution delivery from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with enterprise customers to understand business workflows, technical challenges, and operational goals.
• Design, develop, and deploy production-grade Agentic AI and Generative AI solutions using LLMs, RAG architectures, and modern AI frameworks.
• Build scalable applications, APIs, integrations, and automation solutions across AI, data, and enterprise software platforms.
• Develop rapid prototypes and Proofs of Concept (PoCs), gather customer feedback, and evolve solutions into production-ready systems.
• Integrate AI applications with enterprise data pipelines, APIs, Snowflake, Databricks, and third-party systems.
• Develop high-quality production code using Python while following engineering best practices, coding standards, and design patterns.
• Participate in application design, architecture discussions, system optimization, and technical decision-making.
• Debug, test, document, and deploy applications while ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to translate customer feedback into platform enhancements.
• Present technical solutions, conduct customer demonstrations, and communicate business value to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Monitor production deployments, improve system performance, and drive customer adoption post-launch.
• Contribute to architecture documentation, HLDs, LLDs, technical specifications, and reusable engineering assets.
• Mentor junior engineers, establish engineering best practices, and contribute to the growth of the Forward Deployment Engineering function.
• Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, estimation, code reviews, testing, and release management.
• Drive continuous improvements in engineering quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5–8 years of experience building and deploying production software applications.
• Strong experience deploying Agentic AI, Generative AI, or LLM-powered enterprise solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and modern AI application architectures.
• Strong Python programming skills with the ability to write, debug, optimize, and review production-quality code.
• Experience integrating applications using REST APIs, enterprise data platforms, and distributed systems.
• Experience working with SQL and modern data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, and scalable application development.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers in a forward-deployed, consulting, or customer-facing engineering role.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile software development environments.
