What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Brickhouse Bar & Grille?
Responsibilities: - Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner - Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently - Enter orders into the POS system and process payments through the cash register - Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests - Ensure tables are clean and properly set up for each guest - Provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns or special requests - Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, following all health and safety regulations - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders - Assist with cleaning duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and restocking supplies Requirements: - Previous experience as a server or in a similar customer service role is preferred - Knowledge of basic math skills for handling payments and making change - Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and processing payments - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong hospitality and customer service skills, with the ability to create a positive dining experience for guests - Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members - Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift trays of food or beverages as needed Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
