Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Lender with a transportable book of business to join our growing Commercial Banking team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong credit and non-credit relationships with commercial clients, corporate accounts, and prospective customers. This individual will play a key role in driving growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction through proactive relationship management and tailored financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of commercial clients with a strong emphasis on deposit growth and lending relationships.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities by cultivating relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Conduct regular client visits and interviews to analyze financial structures and recommend appropriate bank products and services.
- Prepare and present loan reports, credit analyses, and recommendations for management review and approval.
- Analyze financial statements, assess collateral, and process commercial loan applications while ensuring compliance with bank policies.
- Monitor and follow up on overdraft accounts and other assigned commercial accounts, escalating as needed for final approval.
- Review and evaluate commercial loan reports, including direct liability, non-performing loans, and payment activity.
- Build and maintain trust-based client relationships by understanding customer needs and providing consultative financial guidance.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial credit with an established portfolio of commercial clients.
- Proven ability to develop and expand client relationships through effective sales strategies and persuasive communication.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Salary : $160,000 - $180,000
