Accounting Manager Assistant
Supporting the Accounting Department with accounting operations, reconciliations, regulatory reporting, audit support, and compliance functions for a foreign banking agency operating in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with preparation, review, and submission of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and regulatory reports.
Perform bank and suspense account reconciliations and monitor outstanding items.
Review accounting data, General Ledger classifications, and manual adjustments.
Support reporting submissions to regulatory agencies, Head Office, and branches, including TIC and other required reports.
Maintain fixed asset records, schedules, and supporting documentation.
Assist external auditors and prepare audit confirmations and supporting information.
Help maintain accounting policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
Ensure adherence to banking regulations, internal controls, and BSA/AML requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in banking accounting operations and regulatory reporting.
Knowledge of General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, and audit support.
Familiarity with T24 or similar banking systems preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage confidential information and meet reporting deadlines.
