Overview:
Brick Oven is seeking a bakery cook that can handle a fast pace environment and able to handle high volume for long periods of time.
Qualifications and Skills:
• 18 years old or older
• Ability to handle a fast-paced working environment
• Willing to learn on the job and follow recipes exactly
Preferred:
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Previous experience as a line cook or baker
Responsibilities and Duties:
Bakery
Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products
Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedule, fulfill orders, and create amazing baked goods
Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability
Ability to stand, walk, bend, use hands, and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods.
Bakery shifts generally start at 6 or 7 AM.
