Position Overview: Brick House Coach/Mentor

- Support System: Be the trusted advisor available to clients at any time, whether by phone, in-person, or through other means of communication. Your presence will be a cornerstone of their recovery journey.
- Collaborative Treatment Planning: Work closely with a dedicated clinical team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans. You'll have the opportunity to contribute your insights to ensure each client's plan reflects their unique strengths, needs, and abilities.
- Holistic Development: Lead clients through step work and goal setting, focusing on their mental, emotional, and spiritual growth. Help them gain insights into personal challenges and define actionable paths toward improvement.
- Crisis Intervention & Consultation: Be a first responder in times of crisis, providing immediate assistance and thoughtful consultation to ensure clients' safety and well-being.
- Diverse Activities: Beyond counseling, you’ll organize and implement monthly recreational and service activities, adding variety and excitement to your role.
- Commitment to Ethics and Integrity: Operate within the highest ethical standards, ensuring all interactions and responsibilities are conducted with integrity and respect.

- Professional Experience: A minimum of 1 year in inpatient, residential, outpatient, or mental health care settings. Experience with clinical and case management is highly valued.
- Recovery Knowledge: A deep understanding of the twelve steps, spiritual principles of recovery, and emotional sobriety are essential.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are crucial for effective client interaction and collaboration with the team.
- Technological Proficiency: Basic computer and technology skills are necessary for managing client documentation and communication.
- Personal Recovery Journey: Must be a sober person in recovery for at least 18 months, actively participating in a recovery program through sponsorship, meetings, and other recovery-related activities.
