Job Summary:
We are looking for a full-time or part-time front desk receptionist at our private dental practice. We are looking for a detail oriented team player with prior dental front desk experience.
Duties:
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar efficiently
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Verifying dental insurance benefits
- Taking in patient and insurance payments
- Utilize Open Dental for patient management
- Going over treatment plans with patients and answering their questions
- Maintain organized patient records and update information as needed
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Familiarity with dental terminology to assist patients with inquiries
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient service
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist
- Knowledge of dental office procedures and protocols
- Must be able to use a computer and understand insurance websites
- Proficiency in using phone systems and administrative tasks
