Overview
Brick & Brew is a growing company with growth opportunities for dedicated talent. We are seeking an individual who has experience in the Gastropub space and is committed to impeccable food presentation and an ability to follow direction in a fast-paced environment.
The line cook will follow the direction of the Dishwasher and Sous Chef to ensure their success.
Compensation based on experience.
Duties
- Efficiently wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including basic cooking tasks.
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables and assisting with serving when required.
- Participate in cleaning tasks throughout the kitchen, including floors, countertops, and equipment.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus.
- Familiarity with banquet service or catering operations is advantageous.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as needed.
Compensation is dependant upon experience
