About the Part-time Recruiter Role:
BRIC seeks a part-time Administrative Assistant, People & Culture to assist with day-to-day administrative operations, recruitment coordination, and core People & Culture processes across the organization.
What You’ll Do in the Role:
The part-time Administrative Assistant, People & Culture will be responsible for the following in addition to any other project as assigned by their manager, the Director, People & Culture:
Administrative
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the People & Culture team, including scheduling, organizing documents, and assisting with coordination across teams.
- Support the Director, People & Culture in benefits administration including placing Visa Transit orders, and updating benefits portals as needed.
- Support onboarding and offboarding logistics in coordination with the People & Culture Generalist, including preparing materials, tracking tasks, and assisting with paperwork.
- Assist with administrative aspects of performance and assessment processes, including preparing materials, tracking timelines, and organizing documentation.
- Assist with general People & Culture tasks and projects, as needed.
Recruitment
- Lead the recruitment life cycle for open positions within all departments at BRIC including sourcing, reviewing and selecting qualified resumes.
- Conduct initial phone screenings.
- Schedule interviews for candidates in all stages of the pipeline.
- Meet with hiring managers to establish hiring criteria per position as well as review candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Other duties as assigned.

Other Things to Know:
- Compensation: The rate for this position is $25/hour, 10-20 hours per week.
- Status and location: This is a part-time non-exempt, flexible hybrid role, candidates must be from the NYC area.
