Description
Briarwood Community Living Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Rehab Director – Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to lead our therapy department while providing high-quality rehabilitative services to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the rehabilitation department.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to residents.
- Monitor, document, and communicate resident progress.
- Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation.
- Educate residents and families regarding treatment plans and therapeutic equipment.
- Coordinate therapy services with interdisciplinary team members.
- Maintain compliance with all facility, state, and federal regulations.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and resident-centered care.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
- Current PTA license in the state of employment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or rehabilitation experience preferred.
