Responsibilities
- Assist with animal restraint during examinations, treatments, and procedures to ensure safety for animals and staff
- Task include providing basic needs of animals that are being groomed, boarded or that are patients in the hospital. General duties include keeping cages clean and sanitized; walking, feeding and picking up after the animals; monitoring and reporting on the animal's condition to veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and management
Qualifications
- Experience not required, but prior experience in the veterinary field is preferred
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members effectively
- A proactive attitude with the motivation to learn new skills in veterinary critical care environments
