Cook Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Prepare meals for residents and families, special events, etc.following federal, state and local regulations.
- The cook prepare meals according to recipes and safe food handling practices.
- Works well in team environment.
- The Cook maintains kitchen standards and expectations.
- Demonstrates and maintains a positive, professional manner, manages time efficiently and effectively, and has a passion to care for the elderly.
- The cook directly supervises the dietary aides.
- Would prefer individuals with previous experience working in a dietary setting with experience in food preparation, cleaning and customer service skills.
- Applicants must be able to work day and evening shifts as well as be available to work weekends.
- ServeSafe certification preferred, but, employment not contingent upon having this certification. Certification can be obtained after hire.
